New Feature - Charge for Downloads!

I've added a new feature to the site. The ability to charge members to view what you upload. I can see this mostly being used for those who want to post ... "interesting" pictures of themselves or other things.

When you go to upload a attachment you will see a box to put how many points you want it to charge.

Abuse of this Feature will NOT be tolerated

What is Abuse you may ask? .... Setting a Attachment for 10000000 points, setting EVERYTHING (even some random completely useless image) as a high cost or cost.

FYI - You should also be prompted if you want to spend your points. So no worries about it just taking them from you

Hmm, not so sure I like this addition. Willing to see how it's used though before I pass any kind of judgement.

So, if someone is charged a fee to view something, the fee goes to the owner of the file?

Hmm I don't think it does. I think the points just get taken away.

Like I said this is a feature we'll need to monitor. Great for those that may want to post certain types of pictures. Or just want people whom are top posters to see (whom have the points)

That's what I was getting at... not much incentive to charge points if you don't get them.
