Points to Post

I'm wondering what others think of Certain forums taking points away for posting? ....

Right now the game room is the ONLY forum that charges for posting? But I've been thinking of things such as Adult forums or other ones? What do you guys think?

Personally I think that is a really bad idea. I dont even like that the game room takes points away. If you want people to post more, then it seems silly to doct points for posting.

anyways.. I don't favor the idea of losing points .. we want to encourage posting, not take away for it..

i dont think that points should be taken..maybe something like gettin less points in certain threads..or maybe try something along the lines of a rewards bonus for a certain amount of posts made

I'd still like feedback on what I posted above.

But .. for the Meantime i've changed the game room to GIVE points. It gives less than other forums as it can sometimes become a post whoring Forum when it comes to Thread Games

What part of the question did I miss? I think the game room is fine taking points, but I don't think any others should. Unless maybe there was some super special room you had to buy a pass for like the arcade pass or something. Just thought of that, go figure.

I didn't agree with it, when that was decided for the Game Room, and I still don't ... We want our members to post, so why take things away from them when they do.

I personally don't have much to say on the fact of losing points for posting in certain areas, depending on what it may be... I'd rather see it more along the lines of giving less in certain threads (as mentioned above) or just not giving any out. And to keep on with the game room sentiment, I've too have dealt with the loss or need of points to play around so that doesn't matter much to me... makes it harder for lurkers and newbies to come in here just to play games instead of joining discussions, adding comments to poetry, posting pics... the likes...

I seem to have veered off my thought process now... I'm gonna go...

A little off subject. It occured to me it might be a good idea to have triple triad pay out according to the level you play on. Instead of paying 100 no matter what.

Unfortunately it currently doesn't have that ability

It was something I wanted too.

click on craz-e-store and select thief from the drop down menu. type in the desired victim and the amount. You can't atempt to take more than you have or more than they have. If you fail you lose the amount you tried to thief.

I have never attempted this
