My Mood: | Off the head ... Yes... I think there's like 5 or 6 of you... Just don't know, not in the mood to go and look What I find a little disheartening is that people sign up here, then they never return. We have 600+ signees, and only at least 30 - 50 posters... That tells me something isn't working... But I've always told Derek he needs to start thinking more in depth about what HoC can offer that's unique when we compare HoC to other sites out there. |

| Seasonal Defiant | Regardless of what the site offers, there is always a high number of folks that don't transition from registering to participating. Many people will sign up just to see what a place is about and find it is not for them. I do agree that more features would be good. But you all may have to look outside of what "mods" and hacks are readily available for Vbulliten. As well as you needing to target what your audience is. Not saying HOC needs to pigeonhole itself into catering for one type of person. But asking what the already established posters want is a good place to start. There are regulars here that are not paying members. Focusing on who you have before focusing on who you want is always a good practice. I would see why these folks have decided not to subscribe and what type of features would compell them into purchasing a subscription. |

My Mood: | That's Derek's job. Not mine. I've always told him in the past "TALK to the users, find out what they want" And yes, we've been looking beyond what vbulletin offers mod-wise... Not to get into details, but I think we have a couple ideas on the burner, I just don't know them yet because Derek isn't COMMUNICATING with me about what he's thinking... When he tells me, I'll know. *shrugs* |

My Mood: | Don't worry lol That's the purpose of this forum... It is to discuss the future of HoC and what we should do... As usual, Derek doesn't post here regularly as he used to in the past. I try to at least read some of the threads daily to make sure there's nothing I need to fix or do some tweaking on. |

My Mood: | That's true, we do have a life outside HoC... Especially myself since I suffer at college daily now. But Derek's online 8 hours Sat - Wednesday... He should be able to read / post on the forums at the same time while he's working. When I worked in Chicago as a Online Support Rep... I managed to read 3 different sites (CNN, a Joke Site for Techs, and um, Asheron's Call fansite), help people via a live chat, respond to support tickets, participate in newsgroups as a Support Rep, and so on... And yet, managed to chat with friends / family on AIM / MSN daily... I just don't see why he can't multi-task. Hell, I probably can out-multitask anyone here on HoC And I'm not normal, I'm Deaf. So... |

| Brandon 1st Blood, Part 2 | I don't have paypal and maybe i missed it but i havent seen an address and name to send a check to. I think the few members and admin that subscribe should do the contest bit though it would be fun to see. And no worrys about keeping up with what we want. I have everything i need here. As far as people who sign up and dont post %%^% 'em. We get along just fine. I may have to come up with a donation to back that too.....

My Mood: | As for sending payment via snail mail, drop the Gaylord a private message, he'll fix you up Hmm, maybe I should take the time to write a FAQ section for the personal webpage... |
