Your most influential Teacher..

Mine would have to be Mr. Saltsman. He was a recent Grad. out of OSU ( Oklahoma State) Ag.Econ. was the class..He taught us how to get along .... mostly. I don't remember anything about the class it was mostly just a b.s. thing unless he was being evaluated. We mostly would play quarter anti poker... unless we had to go out to the farm and actually help. Did teach me how to weld though..glad for that.

we went to a judging contest..and he invited his Sister to join us @ Bobo's..he had me sit close to him since I was the only male sr. I remember his threat..you touch my sister and there will be parts of you from stillwater all the way back to nowata every 1/4 mile. she and I hung out all the rest of the night..dancing and having a good time.

he had her teach me how to two step..

Mr. Banschbach. He was my 7th Grade Literature/Reading teacher. I had a crush on him, cause he was kinda cute in a nerdy way, but he really was a good teacher too. He was the only one who called me by the nickname I requested (J.R., cause there were three other Jessicas in the class), and he recognized that I had potential as a writer. Conversely, I was the only one in the class who could pronounce his name, but I still called him Mr. B.

I remember one day the class was getting rowdy, and he finally looked up from his desk and raised his voice in a decidedly authoritative tone. "Cut the BS, guys!" I wasn't even one of the ones chattering. But so was born a submissive.

MR van 't Zelfde
he was our English Literature teacher, but he thought me a lot about life.
He was the one who would talk to me if he saw I had problems, besides I ussually didn't have to follow his class, as my English was above standard

Also he is the one that got my poetry published

Mr. Hand was one of my highschool english teachers. would spend lots of time after school in his classroom talking about comics and books and phorensics and stuff (were both big comic book fans and book fans) he was one of the teachers in my opinion who really cares about students in general and not just what they can learn. He was the first teacher i showed any of my poetry to, he is a great teacher and an even greater friend. Still send him an occasional email or see him around town and stop to say hello
