My Mood:  | Yet another Milestone... *sigh* So.... Here I am 12:24 a.m. my time not able to sleep, my heart slowly aching, the urge to go to the other room, and just snatch him up. My son has "finally" decided to sleep in his "own" room, it has taken almost 8 years for him to do this (long story). YES he has always slept with me with the rare occassions him falling asleep in the living room. I use to rack my brain because he hogged the bed, to find ways to make him sleep in his own room, would get so irritated where I would wake him up in the middle of night to tell him to scoot over so I could at least have a lil more room on the bed. And now here I sit, feeling empty... Getting up to check up on him watching him sleep so peacefully, I know I should go back to bed, yet I know I will lay there hoping he will wake in the middle of the night, and wander into my room telling me he is scared of the dark. My queen size bed doesnt' look so comfortable anymore. *DEEP BREATH, WIPE THE TEARS AWAY* My baby is growing up.... |

My Mood:   | awww *hugs* I kinda know how you feel. My son (18 months) went to sleepover at his grandma's place saturday. I was in tears for 30 minutes, till I finally decided to act like a grown up  but I was surely happy that he was back the next day

My Mood:  | hehehe...that's so cute! It's awesome that he's finally in his own bed, but even though I don't have kids to share the bed with, I know what you mean about missing a bed/blanket hog when there gone...

My Mood: | Lately I have noticed a lot of "growing" up moments, This one just so caught me off guard, So did not expect it, it was bed time, and we were getting ready, andhe walks into my room, takes all his stuffed animals off the bed (yes I shared my bed with them too ) And then he takes his pillow, and spiderman blanket. I was like Baby bear what are you doing? and he was like going to my room to go to bed, he then stood up on his tippie toes, and gave me a g'night kiss, I must of had a  look on my face cuz he said "Don't worry momma, I will be okay" |

My Mood: | Those are the worst parts of being a parent! Having to watch your children grow up! It is breath taking to see them achieve and grow up, but in the same time heart wrenching because you don't have your baby anymore! Just wait till the "Mom, not in front of my friends" starts! Daniel is doing that already with Lisa, and it really gets to her!

Carlos didn't want me kissing him anymore in public since then, Now we just make the kissing noise to one another while in public, People probably think we are weird making kissing noise in the store. The REAL funny thing about this is if i don't make the kiss kiss noise back at Carlos in the time frame he wants he will make it over and over again, and then will say MOM *kiss kiss sound* and I am like ohhhhh sorry honey, *kiss kiss* |

My Mood:  | awwww...... you and carlos remind me so much of me and daniel. lol. Daniel is sleeping in his room now. I panick half the night and toss and turn the rest of the night. I know my fire alarms work!!! I check them all the time. But daniel sleeps soooo hard, and his room is on the other side of my house, I panick that if the alarm were to go off, would I be able to make it to his room. I am such a worry wart that joey has looked into getting the in home sprinkler system, and the newest fire alarm technology. (the fire alarm records your voice screaming your childs name to get up get up. Get out of the house) because your child is use to the sound of you being the one to wake them up. On the NOT IN PUBLIC thing..... daniel is really bad about it. lol. I have to give him a hug and kiss every morning before we even leave the house, because once out the door, he wants no part of the situation. I am happy to get a goodbye out of him. lol. But at home...... he is constanly blowing me kisses. Coming in the living room for hugs, asking me if I need something to drink, etc. Not outside the house though. lol. One thing is for certain..... This newest addition will NOT be started on the whole *sleep with mommy thing*
