Bad night at the stadium.

Tonight two players collided at the HighSchool field. One of our boys and one of the other teams. (yeah well duh right) ..anyway I was sitting at the game. And wham they hit each other..it didn't sound right. Usually for those of you that do not watch football at a live game you know how the game is supposed to sound. after several hundred games that you have watched.

Anyway..instead of the regular Pop and Smack sounds it was a crunch. Bonett to Bonett CRUNCH! The two boys laid there for the longest time before the refs even realized what happend the ambulance was already pulling out onto the field.

I went with the firemen cause I usually do that... since my dad and brother are both firemen. Went in one of the Road blocker cars. (where we set up the main path to the hospital before the ambulance can get going..)

anyway..we sat there for 35 min. waiting on the LifeFlight to get there and take one of the boys directly to Tulsa. The other was knocked out..He is being held for observations for the weekend..ended up with a major concussion. The staff didn't tell us which was which though...the kid from my town is a Sr.

good news... the one just lost feeling in his legs for awhile.. was not his neck. when he was going onto the helocopter he was starting to feel them..

the kid from out of town was treated and released.
