We already have campers!

so it is 11:53 pm and I just got back from driving by 'Circuit City' where I work, and we already have a good crowd of people camping out for the release of the XBOX 360 tomorrow.

it is insane...we only have 25!

plus there are 2 versions (Microsoft is TRULY an evil genius) The Deluxe version is 399 and includes a harddrive, some special headset,and some extra cord (I know I am simplifying this, but gaming is not really my thing, so be impressed that I know this much

) but anyways and the 299 version doesn't have all of those accessories.

Some people are going to get stuck with the 299 versions just because they want to make sure little junior gets one when he opens his presents on Christmas day!

The problem? Some of the games that are going to be released for the 360 REQUIRE the harddrive that the 299 version does not contain, and to buy all of the accessories it ends up costing the same if not more than you paid for the console.

insanity i say. insanity.

Now mind you, the 360 is flippin sweet, and I don't even like videogames. We have one set up for people to play around with in the store, and the graphics are like nothing anyone has ever seen with a videogame. They were created in HD (High Definition) therefore if you have a High-def television , be prepared for some of the most beautiful gameplay ever!

but anyways...I am done rambling about the craziness...

I think I may wake up earlier than originally intended and buy some donuts and coffee for these poor souls....

Haha, You should see all the people hanging out at walmart last night. Families there at 2 in the morning with genorators and all kinds of crap to keep warm.

shit... I head when the doors opened, there were brawls n' shit at the stores in Virginia/Maryland. I even heard one manager got duct taped to a chair n' locked in his office while the patrons robbed him of the 360's

heaven help us when the PS3 comes out

The only way the ps3 will be anygood at all is if it comes with the PSP game and movie attachment where you can play either the small or large disks.

At Hastings here in Missoula we recieved 10 FULL systems and 1 CORE. Despite people having ordered 10 CORE systems and 1 FULL. (Fortunately no one accused us of trying to do a bait 'n' switch.)
