| kats' british boy toy Honorary Crazed Psycho | new window hell Ok other than saying switch to another browser, which does not answer really why it is doing it, how can I fix a problem that has just recently occured for me. When opening a new window for Internet Explorer, it goes over the existing window that is there, in essence, I can only open 1 Explorer window at any given time, when before, I could without any hassle. This is driving me nuts, and my limited computer knowledge cannot work it out (yes I have tried the question in google, and I cannot find anything that offers much help, other than running this fix.. that does not work, or uninstalling explorer, then reinstalling it, which I cannot find how to do)

| One Very Hot Apple | im not sure why its not actually opening a new window when you tell it to, but i do know youre not supposed to, or at least shouldnt, uninstall IE as it is part of your operating system, if youre running windows, and can cause instability.

| kats' british boy toy Honorary Crazed Psycho | hmm, it was more the fact that it always used to open a new window.. but anyway.. a friend said, switch users, see if its ok there.. it was.. lo and behold.. I switch back to me, and its working again.. whats that all about ?!?

| Entirely Too Lickable | You may have had a nice little "attachment" that just needed a bit of shaking. I used to have that problem alot when I was using Netscape. Once in a while on IE also. I found though (even though you asked not to be told to switch browsers) that switching to Mozilla's FireFox browser once in a while it clears up alot of my problems with IE.
