trying to convert a wma file to an mp3 one, but the wma was bought, so is restricted it seems, so I plan to burn the file as an audio file, then rip the cd, maybe it will work, but how frickin awkward just to get a different file type.. /grumble.. not like I bought the file.. oh wait I did.. grr grr

had to do that with a lot of the audio files I bought through windows media player. they all came as wma's. had to burn em to CD and rip em into MP3 format so I could load em into my ipod. why does Microsoft have to be so freakin difficult?

who would have thought that in the end microsoft was the answer, we see if it rips as an mp3, but it has allowed me to burn to cd as audio with the tricky wma file
