My Mood:  | Skype I'm curious, how many of you out there use Skype, and are any of you aware of a kind of VoiP that isn't exactly VoiP, like I remember ten years ago using Microsoft Netmeeting to talk to a guy in Canada, but I don't recall if you could record the conversation. I think I'm more interested in something thats free, but I don't know a lot about this area of computing anymore. Is anyone here knowledgable in this area? Derek and I are talking about doing a podcasting network project between HOC and Vipertown, and it would be cool to get as many people involved on that as possible.

My Mood: | Re: Skype I just ordered a nice headset off ebay for less than $10 after shipping. We'll see how well those work. I'm currently going through some tutorials on how to podcast. If I'm right about what I'm seeing, we may be able to use a messanger like MSN or Yahoo to do co-host shows. That would be nice, we wouldn't need a studio for everyone to meet up at. (though I'm still not ruling that out for the long run, that might be fun)
