My Mood: | United 93 *Movie on 9/11 Fatal Flight* The compelling Story of United Airlines Flight 93 where the passengers fought back against the terrorists .... Would you go and see this movie why or why not??? I don't know if I could see this movie, its the first movie about 9/11, I just think its too early for a film like that. I don't know how someone could want to profit from that, unless the $$ would go towards the families of those who had died during 9/11. |

| Sexy Party Coordinator | I get what you are saying about the profits being made from something like that Tres. I would probably go see it anyway and honeslty I think it's about time that there was more talk about it. I think way too many people have forgotten (or at least put aside) what happened that day. It is good to put it back out there and remind people.

My Mood: | I guess I am just reminded everyday because of the war going on, and how my son's dad was serving over there, and how it affected my son, I know the effect isn't as bad as those who lost family members during 9/11, but its really hard to convince your child his daddy is going to be okay, when he knows he is @ war. But I am sure you know, since you have a daughter, whose daddy is over there too. |

| Sexy Party Coordinator | Yep. For military families there is a constant reminder that is for sure. Thankfully my daughter is still too young to really understand what he is doing over there or what a war is. If you ask her she just says "Daddy is on vacation in Afghanistan." I dont correct her. Her innocent way of looking at it is better I think at this point. I just think there are way too many people in this country that have stopped caring about what happened. People forgot too quickly.

My Mood: | I have "The Guys" but I don't think I could watch something about it now. "The Guys" was made to help NYC get new Fire Engines and Trucks. This movie I doubt I will see though. Oh..and I was on my way home from work...with dad. We stopped at the Station and Watched with all the other guys. |

| One Very Hot Apple | i think as long as the movie is done respectfully, to honor our country and those we have lost, and as long as its truthful- i would go see it. i havent heard much about it-- but you know how producers/directors can be...over-dramatizing and making shit up about a true story just for a buck...to me, that would be totally disrespectful and wrong.

| Mondu's Sperm Bank | It was made with the families in mind and their opinions were sought during the making. (So I've been told/heard.) *shrugs* If the families of those that lost thier lives on that plane have signed off on the movie... then why not?

My Mood: | I saw an interview with the director and several families (including Todd Beamer's) this morning, and they claim he was given 100% unanimous approval by the families, and that he did it right, and that they are proud of it...the heroes of that day deserve the recognition. By the way, they also reported 10% of the profits for the release are going towards a fund for a memorial.

My Mood: | I saw, I dunno if it was an interview, but where one of the actors playing one of the families sons that died on the plane actually came and visited them. They were telling him how proud they were of him and how much he reminded them of their son, and he had tears in his eyes the whole time. I kind of look at this the same way I looked at The Passion of the Christ. You kind of take it as a mirror. Other movies are entertaining on the surface level, kind of like in a mirror you can only see the surface of yourself. Whereas with movies like this, its more a mirror of your heart and soul, the feelings you experience taking in this particular form mould who you truly are as a person. It's less entertainment, and more a contemplative experience. Kind of like going to a funeral. You go there to remember, say and make your piece, and then say goodbye. But for me at least, its something I would only prefer to experience once. As for where I was... I was working the divet line at Harpers, building panel sections for office units. Someone said a plane flew into the World Trade Center, and I thought they meant a Cesna or something. Then they said another one flew in, and I was like "Shit, is it like National Drunk Pilot Day or something?" Then when they said it was a couple of 747s, I got pretty pissed. Mainly at Bush for being such a fuckwad and abandoning all those nuclear arms treaties we had signed. But as the day wore on and I actually saw the pictures of what happened, things started to shift into perspective. When I got home I hung out at Steve's house, and we BSed on the porch like we always did about stuff like that. So no, no crying for me... Though I was extremely worried about our friend Tony, who had joined the marines the year before. I didn't hear from him again until last year finally. He was very proud of the fact that he'd killed quite a few Taliban and Al Queda over there. He got married and had a son, and moved to Colorado. Haven't really spoken to him since...
