The Notebook

I finally saw it and I didn't cry. I must say I'm dissapointed this was supposed to be the ultimate tear jerker. Why does everyone think it was so sad? I'm not trying to sound all "manly man" but...it was dissapointing.

I've never seen it so I wouldn't know what all the hype is about anyway. I hardly even know what it's about so...

But, I do think you're trying to be "manly man" about it and not tell the truth that you bawled like a little school girl who soiled her best pair of white jeans... J/K

I cried. Hard. I think it was mostly because the type of love with no end is what most women yern for. Just watching that man love that woman throughout everything they went through in their lives, good and bad was very touching.

I'm not saying it wasn't touching but I was looking forward to a good tear jerker. My dad wanted to see it because the guys at work told him how sad it was supposed to be. I'm just glad I rented HitchHikers the same night otherwise I would of been pissy without anything to watch. It was a good movie but still a bit dissapointing.

That movie has moved to the top of my favorites list. Not just because it is supposed to be a tear Jerker, but because it is funny, it is exciting, it is sad, it is uplifting, it is everything all wrapped up in one movie.

It kind of reminds me of Joey and myself, when they laugh and play alot in the beginning. That is how us two are together. And believe it or not, Joey loves me just as much, if not more, than Noah loved ally.
Im just lucky I guess, hehe...

Back on track.... I didnt cry during this movie. Infact, I didnt watch it for a really long time because I am not really into tear jerkers, but when I did watch it, I watched it again, and again, because it reminds me so much of the way that joey and I are together. (not the fighting, and seperating and such... but the playful, loving, caring, nothing seperating, type of stuff)

IN NO WAY DID THIS MOVIE DISAPPOINT ME. I was actually so shocked at how good it was. Has my vote for best movie of the year.
