| Sexy Party Coordinator | Book--->Movie I wasn't really sure whether to stick this in here or in the movies room so if it needs to be moved so be it. ![]() Are there any books that you have read that you really wish they would make a movie out of? Or does that ruin the books for you?

| Brandon 1st Blood, Part 2 | Alot of times when they make a book into a movie they don't do a good job. But If there was one book they made into a movie, providing they did it right (my way), it would be Dean Koontz Watchers.

| Mondu's Sperm Bank | Stephen King's; 'Dark Tower' series or 'The Stand'. His books translate to the screen so well. If the director just follows the book, it's so easy, King uses so much description and is so long winded. King movies have sucked if the director tries to get creative and strays for the source material. I know the ‘The Stand’ has been done before on TV and is my favorite TV mini-series. However, I’d like to see it done justice on the big screen, high production cost, trilogy format. With the recent success of LOTR and Harry Potter it is a possibility. Which also makes a ‘Dark Tower’ movie series possible, though more ambitious.

| Brandon 1st Blood, Part 2 | The best King book to movie production was Green Mile. They did a damn good job on it.

| Bam's Bish Site Owner | I think the Notebook was redone WAY better than the book. After seeing the movie, I wanted to read the book, and the book sucked. (which is highly unsual) If I were to chose a specific book that I think would make a good movie, I would have to say.... Ted Dekker with his book Three. actually, every single book of his that I have read would make a good movie actually. Depending on the director ofcourse.

My Mood: | I think the movies ruin the book, I have read "White Oleander" like 5 times and then watched the movie and that just ruined it for me because the book was way better.
