| Luke's Lovely Lady Administrator | Question ... Hmm does this go here or not so much? I'm not sure so if it needs to go elsewhere feel free do so and move it I got to thinking about blogs on myspace .. mine really - so the following is what I came up with so please add your thoughts on this as I am interested to know. So this is what I recently blogged about ... nothing overly thrilling - my mind went off and thought of the following, I included my email for those out there in myspace land reading that may not want to reply publicly : Quote:

| Brief Psychotic | It could also be people who come across your profile in which are not on your friends list, thus they cannot post a reply to your blogs. I know when I find someone new on myspace, the first 2 things I look at are pictures and blogs... just to get an idea of who the person is. So where as you may think you're not interesting enough for people to comment, its quite the opposite. People find you quite interesting and have the urge to not only check out your profiles but to read more about you. Thats my opinion atleast. |

| Mondu's Sperm Bank | Anybody can read your blogs if you set the security when you post it that way. Actually, non-friends can post on blog comments if that option is selected in the general profile options section. MySpace has a lot of various privacy options so you can be as private or open as you desire. Not like people have to comment when they read your blog. At least they're taking the time to read it, they don't have to do that either. And if they do read it, maybe they don't have anything constructive to say. *shrugs* Even though I haven't posted a blog in like a month, I'm still getting hits every other day.

| always falling somewhere | I don't do myspace, but I've had a livejournal since 2000. With over 120 mutual friends (and more than 200 readers that I know of), I only get comments from a few people, mostly r/l friends and friends of r/l friends, and a few that I've gotten to know in cyberspace over time. It's likely not that they're uninterested, but that they just don't have anything to say, as Johnboat said. |
