Night's cold
confused, nowhere to go.
He turns to look at the sky,
wondering why it couldn't just be.....
Hands shaking,
only thinking PAINLESS, it'll be over soon.
If only he'd taken a moment just to clear his mind.
Overdrawn with the unbearable pain,
his heart beats only for his death.
So numb, he can't even feel.
If only people taken time to notice his sorrow.
His troubled mind wanted out,
his body knew of only one way.
His broken heart filled only with betrayal and hatred.
Just standing there watching the sky,
hoping it wouldn't have to end like this.
His mind's set,
there's no other way....... Only this.
Final glance at the world that envied him,
one last "why couldn't it just be......"
His heart beating so fast...
with only betrayal in his mind everything starts to combine.
He can't take it.
His mind screaming and his heart searching,
Lost in confusion.
Then it comes so clear to him.
His body begins to fall to the ground of the world that envied.
His screaming mind becomes silent and his heart stops the search.
Worrying no more, his body finally lays to rest.
