| Mondu's Sperm Bank | Warped Tour 05... During the second weekend in July a few friends and I went to Warped Tour at the Gorge in Washington. Kristin, Lindsay, Karen and I hoped in my week old truck and drove to Spokane Friday and stayed with Derek, Alicia and Gregg. Unfortunately there are no pics of us getting smashed on Friday night. There was much alcohol and smokage to be had, and I had much. So much so that I was UNcomfortably numb. All’s well; I asked Kristin if I could take her on a date, she said yes, so I promptly got up and went inside to pass out on the couch. (Karen took all the following pictures.) After waking up Saturday morning (hung over) we showered and packed, then piled back in to the truck for a few more hours on the road… Pic #1: Tent City at the Gorge. Pic #2, #3, #4 & #5: (Kristin, Lindsay and I are in all these pics.) The path to the Gorge Amphitheater. Pic #6 & #7: (Main stage.) It was pretty obvious that a majority of people were there to see the Offspring. (Hell, that’s the main reason why I was there.) The hour before the Offspring got on stage the pit was packed. Pits at the Gorge are huge; as in HUNDREDS of people. We all stayed up on the hill near where the pics were taken, we could see five different mosh circles in the pit. (Think about it: five different mosh circles big enough to be seen more than half way up the hill. The pics were taken at the top of the hill.) As soon as the Offspring left there was maybe 50 people that stayed in the pit. Pic #8 & #9: (Ernie Ball stage.) Yes, he’s actually siting on the hands of the crowd while singing, and did manage to stand up during part of one song. This guy didn’t crowd surf: he sat, stood and walked. Pic #10: The beautiful people at the Gorge. Pic #11: (Lindsay.) After the Offspring we all got bored and hungry rather quickly. So we headed back to the camp site for beer and food. Pic #12: (Me.) Ah, long day and its not even dark yet. Yummy cig. Pic #13, #14 & #15: Our campsite. (Ooo… pretty truck.) The girls, the first people to wander in to our campsite that evening and me. Pic #16, #17, #18 & #19: The sun sets on Tent City and people come back to party after the Amphitheater kicks everyone out. Pic #20 & #21: Lindsay chatting with one of our tent neighbors “Fran”. I don’t think any of us remember her actual name. We called her Fran after noticing her voice and laugh resembled Fran Drescher’s. Pic #22: Our middle-aged-pot-smokin’ tent neighbors. We hung out with them for most of the night. Despite their age: they fit right in. These two were hard-core: I ended up passin’ out before they did. Then again, I was dragged in to a tent by a certain gal. Pic #23: Somebody has the munchies.

My Mood: | Shit. Now I've done it. I've gone and made his head swell again... What did we do to shrink it last time, Madge?
