Proud Momma (a lil long, so there is some reading)

My son did some pottery in school, and one of the things he did is something he called the "Tiger Fish", he was really proud of it, and a friend of ours mentioned that we should enter it in the fair this year.

So when it came time to register, and enter into the pottery exhibit this year we were standing in line to enter his "Tiger Fish" along with many others.

After my son saw all the people in line entering in their pottery, he looked up at me and said "Momma, there is no way I will get a ribbon, so many people are here"

I said "Baby Bear, your tiger fish is awesome, you will most definatly get a ribbon!"

He said " I hope so, because I worked really hard on that tiger fish"

Well on Tuesday we went to the fair, and after all the rides were done, we went and checked out the Pottery Exhibit.

AND he got 1st Place in his age bracket!!!!!

We went again today to see when we need to pick it up, and he found out he gets a cash prize as well, he is all excited.

That is adorable

I love the look on little kids faces when they feel they have accomplished something it really puts things in perspective for you as an adult .

Yeah, he is very proud of himself, He didn't like art too much before this, NOW he does, and that is what I was hoping for
