I was watching the evening news tonight, and The top story was a 21 year old man charged with sexual abuse on a 3 year old girl.

The little girl was the daughter of his ex-girlfriend, he did sexual abused this child, and while doing so, he took pictures of him doing it. The worse part is THE MOTHER of the child is the accusers # 1 supporter along with his mother.

Mothers of victim, accused child molester unite

(December 6, 2005) A 21-year-old man is in jail at this hour accused of sexual abuse and photographic exploitation of this ex-girlfriend’s 3-year-old daughter.

But as Newscenter 11's Darryl Lewis reports, mothers of the victim and the accused are showing solidarity, saying the cries for psychiatric help went unanswered before something tragic took place:

A 21-year-old man is in jail accused of preying on his ex-girlfriend's 3-year-old daughter. What makes this case so bizarre, both mother of victim and mother of the defendant are standing together for the accused.”

“Nobody ever expected it, he's a good person, he's good hearted…he’s an honest person,” said the victim’s mother under the alias of “Jennifer”

After listening to this woman we’ll just call “Jennifer,” and how she portrays accused child molester Zachary Pierce, one would think of her to be the typical acquaintance taking a single side of the story. In fact, “Jennifer” is the mother of the 3-year-old girl Pierce is accused of abusing repeatedly and photographing the acts.

“It appears that he’s a pervert and a sexual deviant who has violated the sanctity of childhood innocence,” said Assistant DA Helen Hickmon.

According to court records the mother found the shocking photographs Monday and called authorities. “I found those pictures and I asked him right away, and over the phone at the Troopers, I asked him and he admitted to everything, plus more than what I knew about,” added “Jennifer.”

But “Jennifer” and Pierce’s mother Kathleen are forming a show of solidarity towards someone they say had been crying out for help that never came.

“He still loves her and the little girl. He thinks a lot of them and he’s so sorry for what he’s done. And he just says, ‘Mom, please explain to her that I’m sorry.’ And he says he needs help, but didn’t know how to ask for it,” said Kathleen Pierce.

“She’s not scared of him. You know, she misses him; she asks for him. I mean he was the father figure in her life. She wants him around you know. And I don’t know how to deal with that,” added “Jennifer.”

While District Court Magistrate Patrick Hammers set bail for $250,000, “Jennifer” says she feels anger and compassion towards a man she says her daughter still asks for

I'm agreed with Chris here. Someone had to take them and this sounds like a ploy to keep him out of trouble and keep their little scheme from going completley under. i vote we sentence them both to being bare as barbie dolls and carrie the punishment out with a dull knife/sewing needle.

i thought it was interesting that "Jennifer" kept saying his "cry for help" kept going unheard, and yet the guy says that he didnt know how to ask for help...so which is it here? something's fishy.

The mother of the child obviously knew that the man was sick and needed help. Knowing that she should have kept herself, and her child away from that man. WHY THE HELL SHE DIDNT MAKES HER GUILTY. If my man had a sexual perversion to that level and I knew about it (obviously the accuseds mother, and the girlfriend aka mother of the victom knew he was this way because it was stated as so) he would not be anywhere near me, and he damn sure wouldnt be around my children. *shakes head*

THEN....... THE WORST OF IT ALL...... the mother says the little girl misses him, that he is the only father figure she has known, and she wants him around........
ERMMMMMMMM HELLO..... she is only 3 years old. She doesnt know what the hell she wants. Parents are all the time doing things to kids that kids dont like (spankings, groundings, etc) and they still love their parents. Hell, she isnt even old enough to destingish right from wrong. For all she knows, he was just doing normal things.

All three of them should fry. The man for even doing it. (if he had an urge and knew he was sick, he should have stayed away and gotten help) The mother of the victom (for allowing this man to get away with what he has done. For not sticking up for her daughter and teaching her that what he was doing WAS NOT right for him OR ANYONE to do) and his mother (for the same reason as the mother of the victom.) I cant understand them. *shakes head* If someone even remotely touched my kid(s) in a sexual manner I would break their fucking fingers over and over again. Then castrate them and watch them bleed to death.

:sad sorry, I have no sympothy for child abusers... they are the worst preditors aka scumbags to take a breath.

I can understand their position in a way. We are finding out more and more every year that we may not have as much control over our actions than we think. Whether it applies to this guy or not who knows. But we are finding out their are certain parts of the brain responsible for violence and sexual urges. And if damage or something else occurs to that part it can cause people to do things they wouldn't normally do, or act a way that is totally out of conflict.

I understand where you are coming from derek. Thus the reason I went into so much detail about explaining the way I felt. But simply put... According to that report, not only he, but others, KNEW he wasnt in the right mind. He, and they, KNEW he needed help. They even said that he had a sexual perversion and so they knew. It is his fault for not getting the help he needed. It is the mother of the childs fault for knowing something wasnt right, and yet still letting her daughter around him.

If a person is addicted to crack, and you know they have an addiction, wouldnt you urge them to get help? Wouldnt you try to stay away from all possible places that the person might get the urge to do the drug? Or would you be like the mother of the victom and wave the crack right in his face?

Now I don't agree with her on her wanting this man around her daughter, But since I watched the news SHE WAS NOT the one holding the camera.

IS SHE to blame for what happened, Yes I believe she is partly to blame, for the facts that Lisa stated. AND she is the childs mother, and suppose to protect her child, so her wanting this man around her daughter again, is sick, and the state needs to move in and take this child from her.
