| Mondu's Sperm Bank | In case you were wondering... ...why I haven't been around much. The following is a recent post on my blog at MySpace: Last night was the final straw that broke the Kamel’s back. I came home after school to Jen greeting me at the door. I had been sent an e-mail at work. Another co-worker thought I would rather read it at home than when I got to work today. (Kara is a smart and intuitive gal.) After having this e-mail in my hands and reading it, I came to the conclusion I quite possibly would have quit (no notice) right there on the spot, if I had walked in to work and read it. So I went in to work last night and fired off another e-mail to Helen and in the contents of the e-mail was my two weeks notice. I will no longer work for Hastings (your entertainment superstore) as of November 23rd. What did the e-mail sent to me contain, you might be wondering? Well some of you know because IT WAS IN THE GSM INBOX FOR EVERY GSM TO SEE! *clears throat* Excuse me… It contained a copy of the original e-mail I wrote asking for some time off. Which was done rather nicely, in my opinion (and in the eyes of everyone else that’s read it so far). I could have sent her an e-mail that simply said: I want the 24th of December through the first of January off. But no, I knew that this is prime time to ask off. (Being a time of year that is rather busy and a time when a lot of people want that time off to be with family and friends.) I thought I should be nice, and apparently it was taken to be rude, unkind, and some other adjectives. (From what I’ve heard through the grape vine anyway.) Anywho… it also contained her response. Essentially my request was denied, and that if I do decide to take the time off anyway: my position may not be available when I return. I DO NOT take kindly to threats. She was more than welcome to come and talk to me about this, I even put in the original e-mail that she was welcome to call me. She, instead chose to threaten my job AND do it in full view of my co-workers. Fitting; in my original letter I had mention that I am more than willing to work through Thanksgiving week whenever she needed me to. With my two weeks notice I will now be out of there by the day before Thanksgiving. Also, in the past two weeks I took the time to switch one of my e-mail addresses. Since some of you didn't get the first message... My yahoo ID is now 'juan_boat'. Feel free to add me to your messenger if you so desire.

| Mondu's Sperm Bank | Ya, she's kinda screwed. (Helen being the store manager.) All but one department manager is quiting. All but one one cashier manager(GSM) is quiting. (I am a GSM.) Most of the cashiers and department associates have been looking for new jobs.
