My Mood:    | DAMN ARMY DOCTORS *sigh* Ok this is going to be a rant so run while you still can.  I am aproximately 6 weeks pregnant right now and still have not seen a damn doctor. And now I get a phone call today telling me that they do not have an opening to see me at the Ft. Drum OB until the 2nd of December. Are you fucking kidding me??!?! That is another month from now. I will be pretty far along to have that be the first time I see a doctor.  I am so pissed. I have had major medical problems involving my reproductive stuff and now they are telling me that they can't see me now that I finally got pregnant. Do they not realize how mnay things could go wrong in that time? Thank god I have been pregnant once before. I can not imagine being some privates wife that is miles away from her family, alone and pregnant for the first time.  Damn army doctors.

My Mood:  | My first problem with Army doctors.... The pinch ulnar nerve in my arm. it took me 3 months of no feeling in my hand before they helped me. My head injury over here in Iraq, first thing they did; motrin. Anyone who deals with army doctors knows that the first and only thing they do to heal you is motrin. Water, Motrin and a reflective belt are the 3 life savers.  |

My Mood: | Can't you go off post ? When I was there I had Casey in Carthage (sp) I dunno if they still do the tri-care standard or prime whatever it's called but it allowed me to go off post to the doc when we were there. It is worth checking out.

My Mood:  | I never went through TRICARE, which is the same insurance that we have. I set my date at a private doctor, showed my insurance card when arriving, and never recieved a single bill! I paid $0.00 for all 3 of my children!

My Mood:  | Sorry you're having the trouble with ft drum's docs...My wife had our son @ ft Carson, and loved the care she received...great staff, great prenatal care, great prenatal training, everything. In fact, they were so supportive and thorough, it almost reached an annoying level, but never got there because they were all so genuinely concerned about her and the other mothers in the program...don't have a clue why it would be different there, sweety.
