I'm not tired, I'm fluffy...

Ummm, wait a second. That's not how that goes.

I should be tucked away all snug in my bed because I have to work tonight. But for some reason my brain wants my body to collapse from exhaustion and won't shut off long enough for me to get some FRIGGIN SLEEP!!!

So I'm here. For a little while anyway. And I got to thinking of all those stupid little pins people wear with cutesy phrases on them. Like one with a sheep on it saying "Ewe's not fat, ewe's fluffy." and shit like that.

And I thought about a pretty cool one I saw a few years ago. "I don't have a problem with God. It's his fan club I can't stand."

Then I remembered this girl I used to see at the Plaza (bus depot) in downtown Spokane, who had a backpack with a whole assload of little pins on it. I always wanted to say something to her- just to make a connection, cause I thought she was adorable- but she always got off the bus I was getting on in the mornings, so I never had more than a few seconds to stare.

I'm in Seattle again now. Home of the environmentalist, the weekend warrior, the revolutionary, and a big wave of grrrl power. I need to go browse Capitol Hill, flirt with some bookworms, and feed on their energy. *sigh*

But for now. I just. Wish I could sleep.

or you can have some from me and my... ummm... "condition"... 10 hrs a night isnt enough!! but then again i think i might have to use my first day of FMLA because i had this killer headache all day that hasnt gone away...

LOL, no I'd rather be tired than have a flu or migraine and be pregnant. Thanks for the perspective, ladies.
