saw local punk bands The Creeps and Civilized Animal lastnight... The Creeps have changed their sound a little...they're a bit more hardcore/scream than they used to be...and Civilized Animal has changed too, but they've been that way for a while...they dropped the hardcore/metal and do more of a reggae/jazz ska-ish punk...it's interesting. i did get all their autographs on a poster...it was fun, i hadnt seen them in like 6 years. there was another band there called Six State Bender... they werent that great.

its sad we are losing the B-Side, its been a punk music venue forever....they are selling it to some guy who is going to "clean it up" and call it The Spread. no more shows. it kinda sucks. but, i guess they werent making much money to keep it going like that anymore. its gonna be sad to see all the graffiti go, i mean- thats what made the B-Side so personal. there are autographs everywhere. its just been a big part of my life, ive seen so many shows there and had so many good times... oh well. *sigh*

Harsh, on the plus side irony will make all the people who signed the walls famous and really piss of the new owner for painting over them.

that was really the most punkish... now that we have the Big Easy, they play there too...the BLVD & Ichabods have been picking up a lot of business lately too... so has the new Fat Tuesdays, although i dont really like the venue....

Oh, I don't know if they are exactly " Punk " or not but Three Percent Rhino is on my myspace friends list...They are pretty good. I listen to the other band more though..since I am into their music and they are close.
