I don't have any favorite drinking songs. But I do have a favorite genre of music when I'm drinking, per bar I'm in.

Of course, in the main bar I go to, it's country. But two of the other bars, I tend to prefer rock or metal when I'm there drinking. If I don't get a good dose of either when I'm out, I fire up Media Player and set up one of three playlists I have built with the heaviest, hardest Metal I have on this thing.

Cannibal Corpse and Morbid Angel tend to be the main two I listen to after a good hard drunk has kicked in.

A lot of my favorite drinking songs don't really have anything to do with drinking...

they are country though...cowboys and beer just seem to 'work'

My favorite:
'God Bless Texas' - Little Texas (that song just makes me proud to be a Texas Girl...a drunk Texas Girl...but yeah..)

Damn, there are so many. I definitely love "Closing Time" by Semisonic if I happen to close a bar...

It really depends on what I'm drinking and who I'm with. If I'm drunk and horny, that's a way different selection than if I'm drinking and shooting pool, or drinking and watching my friends run around naked.

definetly "Friends in low places". I somehow manage to whine and sing in a bad country voice to that when I'm hammered.

It's hard not to totally twang out to that one... even from the first line. I was actually singing the first verse of that at work the other night, before they turned on the radio.

It's the only time my two years in Tennessee comes out to haunt me.

definetly, its a classic. It reminds me on my dad. He's totally a cowboy, down to the boots and up to the hat, back around the the drinking problem and divorces. Every time I go home we end getting drunk and listening to that shit

I also love pretty much anything by Kid Rock when I am getting hammered.
