Childrens songs

Did you have a favorite song as a child? Was it something off the radio or a nursery rhyme song? Why was it your favorite?

I would have to say, at best recollection, it was Puff The Magic Dragon... helps me understand why I like smoking some ganj once in a while, to say the least.

I loved "Leader of the Pack". It's an oldies song. My dad always listened to the oldies station and I just loved that song.

Lee Greenwood's "God bless the USA" it always made me think of my dad.

Alabama's "Song of the South" It's now a ring tone on my phone!

Since everyone is going by what they listened to with/because of their parental influences...

Who'll Stop The Rain - CCR
Aqualung - Jethro Tull
Nights In White Satin - Moody Blues
Killing The Beast - Blood Good
some Stones tunes in there somewhere, mixed with some Alabama, Charlie Daniels and a few others... My parents had, at one time, decent musical tastes....

I thought this was Children's Songs when I answered the first time... but then again, I go and reread it and I see Radio in there... my bad....
I need sleep.
